The greater your storm, the brighter your rainbow. <\/b>The rainbow has been a symbol of hope and positivity for the NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rainbow is closely connected with our gratitude for all the hard work and devotion of the NHS, a symbol that is now a visual sign fueling initiatives from people around the Nation to pay tribute to the brave work of our NHS. As a community, it is true that we are coming closer in difficult times, and it is truly touching how in Britain we have been united towards the battle with Coronavirus. The Clap for Medical Workers, the Children’s drawings on the windows, the masks that the fashion industry is creating and donating are actions of appreciation and kindness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Mask-Sew\"<\/p>\n

Our brand has taken initiatives to help by making masks, donating food, joining the National Scheme and most importantly staying safe. Quarantine life has been challenging for everyone in different ways and with small kids working from home is not easy, but our Designer, Sanyukta Shrestha and her husband has creatively involved her 5 year-old daughter to the mask making project to help others and inspire other families while staying together at home.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs a mother this homeschooling experience has been so heartwarming and seeing my little girl’s act of kindness has been gloriously inspiring for me. She had so many complaints for me before that she couldn’t play all day even during lockdown but when I explained the purpose of my work why I am busy making masks, she not just seemed understood but wanted to give hands to me. A new Ameya immersed with such inborn skill with a few minutes of guidance she started sewing effortlessly. My eyes couldn’t believe it so I started recording her video. A rather beautiful cohesive approach of play and sharing compassion for the people & nation, a mother, daughter & father team started\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We believe that what makes the <\/span>power of kindness unique, is the fact that it has no age boundaries. <\/span>Children enjoy and respect being given a higher purpose. <\/span>Sanyukta\u2019s daughter, Ameya, might only be a 5-year old but she has a higher purpose and brings a strong message of hope and positivity that has truly inspired all of us with <\/span>connectedness, empathy and resilience.<\/span> The little girl is devoting time during her school lockdown to protect our precious heroes by sewing rainbow masks. She takes pride each time she sews and she enjoys the responsibility of being part of a bigger project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kids who have a sense of purpose have higher levels of psychological well-being, and are physically healthier. We believe purposeful kids thrive. <\/span>The Mask Ameya sewing has a stronger message and serves the higher purpose.\u00a0 The rainbow stands for hope and the purpose of the mask is protection and unicorn a mythical creature that fantasises the children\u2019s imagination making it a fun project for little girls like Ameya. Meticulously stitched the mask Ameya made is from 100% cotton, reversible sides, reusable and can be worn by healthcare workers as a last resort\u00a0 as per CDC guidelines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children enjoy and respect being given a higher purpose. The connectedness, empathy and resilience is important for growing kids. Ameya\u2019s effort is so special not because she could stitch in a matter of minutes she saw the sewing machine, or diligently control the sewing machine. The surprising part is that her purpose to stitch has a deeper meaning, feeling and understanding of 5 years old why the frontline key workers have no choice but to bravely act. Ameya is one of the children out there contributing with their creativity and pure love and we are in awe of their understanding and willingness to help. <\/span><\/p>\n
