Made of Wild Nettle from Nepal, this piece has always been a signature of the Sanyukta Shrestha Millinery collection due to its uniqueness and drama. Nearly two feet high the hand crafted Adriot hat is made with 100% wild nettle flower on a natural Sinamay base. The piece is finished and hand beaded with Swarovski crystals.<\/p>\n

The Nettle fibre used has been specially sourced from villages in Nepal by local villagers who painstakingly collect nettle from community forests in controlled amount, so as not to adversely affect the ecological balance. Chemicals are shunned in favour of traditional bleaching agents like ash to treat the plant. The fibre is eventually hand-spun into fabrics by the villagers. By turning & twisting with delicacy, Sanyukta recreates this coarse fabric into a bridal luxury.<\/p>\n
