Fresh breeze in the summer! Today we remember a beautiful fairy tale winter wedding<\/strong> of Katrina and Glynne. Red lips, red roses, daring backless wedding dress<\/strong>, this real bride<\/strong> was definitely the main eye-catcher!<\/p>\n

Katrina knew from the very beginning what kind of dress she wanted and we, from our side, knew that we had it! As soon as she tried our silk and chantilly lace Ellene gown<\/strong><\/a> on, we realised that was the one. Can you imagine, ‘Sanyukta Shrestha Gown’<\/strong> was the very first wedding dress she ever tried on! For her wonderful winter wedding we created a semi-bespoke Ellene gown<\/strong> by adding long sleeves to it, so it would look exactly how our bride had wished. What\u2019s more! We are very thrilled to hear that after visiting our Behuli boutique<\/strong><\/a> and having learnt about fair trade<\/strong> and eco-friendly<\/strong><\/a> materials, Katrina also started to care about the environment even more.<\/p>\n

WHERE DID YOU MEET:\u00a0 <\/strong>We met at work \u2013 he was my boss.<\/p>\n

THE PROPOSAL:\u00a0 <\/strong>He proposed in Sydney, in front of a beautiful lake before a trip with my family to the Hunter Valley.<\/p>\n

MOST MAGICAL MOMENT: <\/strong>Walking down the aisle and looking at my then fianc\u00e9 as he watched me walk toward him.<\/p>\n

THE DRESS:<\/strong> I have always wanted a long sleeve backless lace dress, and once I came across Sanyukta Shrestha I knew even before I tried a dress on that I was going to get something from her style.The dress was the highlight of the day, and I still get comments to this day on it. It tied everything together and really fit the venue and winter wedding style.<\/p>\n

FAIRTRADE:<\/strong> I wasn\u2019t aware of eco-friendly materials Sanyukta Shrestha uses. It is another talking point of the dress which people still can\u2019t believe. It\u2019s currently in an eco-box stored in my wardrobe. I am becoming more and more aware and responsible for my actions, very passionate about recycling and my foot print on the earth.<\/p>\n

YOUR ADVISE FOR OTHER BRIDES: <\/strong>Take only 1 or 2 people with you that you trust and have an idea of what you want. There are so many options and adaptations that you can make you want to be open to other styles but not end up buying something you never imagined you wearing. Funnily enough my dress was the first I tried on and there was no looking back. I added some sleeves and after a few fittings, it seemed almost too good to be true but it was so stress free and magical.<\/p>\n

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE: <\/strong>Unintentionally yes. I wore an old sapphire ring from my grandma and my husband bought be a beautiful diamond necklace.<\/p>\n
