With a rustic charm, Fluer and Eddie\u2019s wedding was nestled in the gorgeous luxury destination<\/strong> of Villa di Maiano, Fiesole, Italy. Her ethical wedding dress<\/strong> was custom made by Sanyukta Shrestha Atelier and crafted elegantly to flatter her naturally beautiful curves. Fluer is also a green, eco-friendly queen, saying that \u201clove green, believe in ethics\u201d is a motto in which she lives by. The sustainable bride\u2014who opted for an antique white as her choice of colour\u2014looked stunning in a hemp-silk bespoke wedding dress<\/strong> tailored to fit beautifully by the Sanyukta Shrestha team at Behuli Boutique in Fulham, London.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For a bride with a more fuller, hour-glass figure<\/strong>, Fluer said that she was a bit nervous that she may not be able to wear any of the gorgeous silk dresses hanging on the racks. But Sanyukta Shrestha conquered all those fears, exemplifying how you can love your body, highlighting and celebrating how brides with curves<\/strong> can feel elegant in the luxury bridal dress<\/strong> of their dreams.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

WHERE DID YOU MEET<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I was walking home down Putney High Street after my Christmas party and saw a tall, dark and handsome man standing outside the Spotted Horse, and fate (or the cocktails) compelled me to walk across the road and introduce myself to him. We never looked back!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

THE PROPOSAL<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Eddie took me for a morning walk to my favourite beachside spot on the Gold Coast (Burleigh Headland) and proposed as watched the early morning surfers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

MOST MAGICAL MOMENT<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When the saxophonist came out after dinner and ordered us all to the dancefloor! We had a DJ combined with a live saxophonist and drummer and it was the best money we spent. The whole room was jumping and when they played our favourite song, it was like there was no one else in the room.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

THE DRESS<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The story of women\u2019s empowerment and working with the Nepalese Ashram also really spoke to me and I was delighted that by purchasing my wedding gown through Behuli I would also be supporting sustainability and women\u2019s equality!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My dress was made out of hemp fabric which shone so beautifully (I\u2019m sure the hypoallergenic qualities were helping to calm me down on the day)! I absolutely loved going in for my fittings. The team were professional and a delight to visit (shout out to Elham) and the service I received was unbelievable from start to finish.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This was one of the main reasons I bought my dress from Sanyukta. I loved the feeling of being able to empower other women by purchasing my dress through Behuli and I have never felt better in the fabric\u2014it was so soft, so stunning. Fast fashion is so crippling to the environment and by design, wedding dresses are something that you generally only wear once…which is such a shame when so much effort goes into them. I\u2019m actually getting my dress re-designed now into a new style so that I can wear it again and again!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
